How long have you been in business?
25 years
What is your primary product or service?
We raise registered Miniature Donkeys. Our foals are imprinted at birth and worked with 5 days a week. They are groomed, haltered and led, and taught to walk through our obstacle course. Our herd sire, Country Music's George Jones is National Champion Halter Jack. His offspring have been purchased by people through out the U.S, Europe, Canada, Costa Rica and New Zealand. Over 25 of his offspring have become National Champions at halter and performance.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have showed horses at Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle for many years. At the shows, when I first saw these precious Miniature Donkeys I knew I wanted to breed and raise them.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We spend a tremendous amount of time training our foals. We wean between 4-5 months; they are ready to show at that time!! Also, our herd sires are of one blood line....Country Music's George Jones and his two sons, Country Music's Garth Brooks and Country Music's Sonny James.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, Spicewood Texas. It is between Austin, Texas and Marble Falls , Texas. Our ranch is minutes off of Hwy 71

I continue to get emails and photos of our little donkeys that are all over the world. The greatest compliment is how much they love their their donkeys
